Hey, I'm Mike!

Before founding Aira Fitness, I served as a District Vice President for a billion-dollar fitness company. I oversaw multiple locations, helped turn around struggling gyms, and personally sold over $1 million in personal training.

But my story didn’t start in a corporate office.

Before I opened my first gym… before I sold my first membership… I was a youth pastor sleeping on a bean bag at my sister’s house. No savings. No investors. No business degree.

When I entered the fitness industry, I failed my first 300 personal training consultations. Zero sales. For two straight months, I couldn’t close a single client.

What changed everything wasn’t talent. It wasn’t motivation.

It was structure.

I found mentorship. I learned systems. I studied numbers obsessively. Within months, I became the top performer in my region. Within a year, I was promoted to District Vice President, overseeing multiple gyms and tasked with fixing underperforming locations.
That’s when I saw the pattern clearly: Gyms don’t fail because people lack passion.

Why don't you have a sales team?

We believe in efficiency. Most franchises pay aggressive sales commissions that inflate your startup costs. We removed that layer. Instead, we give you direct access to our confidential data (P&L, FDD, Lease Playbook) so you can make a logic-based decision on your own timeline.

Is this a "Passive Income" opportunity?

No. It is a "Lean Management" opportunity. While our automation handles access control and billing, you (or a manager) are responsible for sales, marketing, and community building. If you are looking for a business you can ignore, this is not for you.

Do I need $75k in cash sitting in the bank?

Not necessarily. Many of our partners use a mix of Liquid Cash, HELOCs, and SBA/Unsecured Funding. As long as you have access to the capital required to launch, we can work with you. If you have good credit (700+) but low cash, our funding partners can often bridge the gap.

Does the landlord really pay for the build-out?

In many cases, yes. We specialize in negotiating Tenant Improvement (TI) Allowances. This means we look for 2nd Generation spaces where the landlord contributes capital (often $40k - $80k) to renovate the space for you. This is how we keep entry costs low.

Can I keep my full-time job while running this?

Yes, this is the "Manager-Led" model. Because you don't need to be at the front desk scanning badges, you can run this asset while keeping your career, provided you hire a Club Manager or dedicate 10-15 hours a week to high-level management.

What happens after I submit the form?

You will be routed to the Evaluation Portal. If you meet the capital criteria, you get instant access to the FDD and Founder Chat. If you need funding assistance first, we will route you to our lending partners to get pre-approved before reviewing the legal documents.

"How do I find a profitable location?"

We do it for you. Our real estate team identifies "Second Generation" gym spaces in your territory—locations that are already built out but vacant. This is how we negotiate the Tenant Improvement (TI) Allowances where landlords often contribute $40k–$80k toward your launch costs.

"How much money can one location make?"

We don't sell 'average' numbers because no two territories are the same.

Instead of giving you a generic spreadsheet, we focus on Site Feasibility. We will not approve a location unless our demographic data shows it has the population density and income levels to support a profitable gym.

Our incentive is aligned with yours: We want you to be successful so you open a second and third location. Once we begin the territory mapping process, we will help you build a conservative pro-forma based on your specific market's rent and demographics.

"Do I need previous fitness experience?"

Zero. In fact, we prefer if you don't have it. We aren't looking for personal trainers; we are looking for business operators. We provide the "Playbook"—a complete operational system covering everything from pre-sale marketing to member retention. You hire the fitness staff; you run the business.

"What exactly is the 'Lean Staff' model?"

Traditional gyms bleed money on payroll because they pay staff to stand around. We don't. Aira uses phone-based access control and AI lead nurturing. This allows you to run a location with 0 Front Desk Staff and shift your payroll dollars to Sales & Management—the roles that actually make you money.

"How long does it take to open?"
